About

Drug & Alcohol Counselor, MA, LADC-MH

Clay Tangner

I work with people overwhelmed by addiction, anxiety, depression, or panic disorder—especially first responders and those in high-stress roles. I know what it’s like to lose everything to addiction and face the darkness of depression and anxiety. My background as an EMT and my own journey through recovery help me deeply understand the pain, shame, and isolation you may feel. If you’re ready to focus on your own healing after years of putting others first, you’re not alone.

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be truly heard and supported. Drawing from lived experience and evidence-based therapies like ACT, I help you build resilience, self-compassion, and practical coping skills—so you can move toward healing and lasting change.

I know how hard it is to reach out, but you don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’m here to walk beside you. Together, we can find hope, rebuild your life, and create a future you want. Reach out when you’re ready—I look forward to connecting.
